Built by Baltic Yachts in 2003 with naval architecture by Judel / Vrolijk, the 42.9 metre sailing yacht, Cavallo (ex. Canica), was bought by her current owners earlier this year. The owner’s have recently launched a new website with new photos of the superyacht, and offering her for charter.
Boasting interiors by John Munford and exterior designs by Baltic yachts, she sleeps up to 10 guests over four luxurious staterooms, including two double cabins, two twins, and two Pullman berths. She also carries additional crew of 5. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout her living areas to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.
As well as her many facilities and amenities on board, Cavallo also comes with several water toys and tenders to ensure a full experience. These include a 164hp Steyr diesel Ribtec with tender storage found in the garage aft, a 15hp Zodiac, water skis, a wakeboard, 2 sets of Scuba diving equipment, an inflatable mattress, 3 sets of fishing equipment, 2 standup paddle boards, and a Bauer Mariner II 3E HU.
She has a sail area of 1006 m2 in total, with a 440 m2 mainsail. Performance wise, she is powered by 1 x CAT 3412E DITTA V12 engine, providing her with a maximum speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 13 knots, and a range of 1800 nm at 12.8 knots.
Her charter plan for the winter season will be in St Martin in the Caribbean, where she will then head towards the Mediterranean at the beginning of the summer season 2015.
