Mulder Shipyard in the Netherlands is enjoying a very busy time with a number of fine yachts recently launched and several new ones slated for delivery in the near future. In addition, the yard’s extra new facility in Zoeterwoude Rijndijk will be ready in the next few weeks.
This yard's new site will open a new era for Mulder Shipyard, which celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2013. The existing yard in Voorschoten will stay open and be used for maintenance, refit and storage of yachts of up to 18 metres.
In the coming period, Mulder Shipyard will devote considerable attention to showcasing its options for refits. The two dry docks in the new facility are 55 m long and 12 m wide, and will be ideally suited for work on larger hulls.
