Designed in partnership with leading naval architects BMT Nigel Gee and interior designers / stylists Design Unlimited, this new yacht has been created as an ideal craft for tropical cruising with extensive covered external areas offering plenty of shade and the ability to cover large distances between refuelling stops. At her cruising speed of 12 knots she has a range of nearly 5,000 nautical miles, and can achieve 16 knots when required. Based on a proven 60m displacement steel hull combined with an aluminium superstructure the yacht is Lloyd’s Certified and built to the MCA Large Yacht Code LY2 with a gross tonnage of 1240 GRT.

The accommodation is designed for an owner plus 10 guests, and is spread over four of the six decks. The upper deck is dedicated to the owner with a forward‐looking stateroom balanced by a private saloon facing aft on to an open deck with Jacuzzi. In between sit the spacious en‐suite bathroom, two lobbies and a sauna. Five double guest suites are located on the main and lower decks, including one with a balcony. The forward part of the lower deck has accommodation for 14 crew in seven cabins together with crew mess and galley. The Captain’s cabin and office are located on the wheel house deck, between the main and upper decks. Entertainment and public spaces include a sun deck with bar above the owner’s deck, and on the wheel house deck a spacious upper lounge leads out onto an aft deck complete with a 3.5m mini pool. The main deck hosts the main saloon and dining areas, and also a dedicated cinema, while a gym is located on the lower deck.

The lower deck also has garaging aft for tenders and jet skis, along with storage for scuba gear and other water sports equipment. A fold‐out beach area sits right at the stern, complete with wet bar. Finally a tank deck houses the engines and other electro‐mechanical equipment, along with the cold stores and the laundry, and there is the option of a helicopter touchpad on the bow.

Ruea Yachts Managing Director Gareth Twist said he was delighted to be unveiling the first design concept for the fresh and energetic new brand that re‐thought traditional marine architecture and delivered an innovative, stylish and high‐tech superyacht at a highly competitive cost due to the company's base in Thailand.

"The combination of cutting edge design and architecture, courtesy of our European partners Design Unlimited and BMT Nigel Gee, and the superb Thai craftsmen we have at our shipyard in Bangkok we believe will be an enticing proposition for superyacht aficionados,” he continued. “They will discover not only a stunning vessel, but one that is extremely affordable when compared to western yards without compromising on quality.”
