Luxury has always been central to yacht design, but what defines luxury is changing. Where once the focus centred on expansive entertainment spaces and lavish amenities, today's owners are placing greater value on something less tangible: wellbeing.Across luxury residential and hospitality design, wellness has evolved from a desirable addition to a fundamental design principle. Many lead demanding professional lives, travelling frequently and balancing high-pressure careers, making their yacht one of the few places where they can truly disconnect."They view their yacht as a place to recover and reconnect with family," says Carla. "They expect environments that support better sleep, reduced stress, cleaner air and a stronger connection to nature. Wellness is no longer considered a luxury – it is becoming an expectation."That evolution represents a broader shift in the purpose of a yacht. Rather than serving primarily as a platform for entertaining, owners are increasingly seeking spaces that encourage privacy, reflection and meaningful time with loved ones."A decade ago, many yachts were primarily focused on entertaining," Carla notes. While the technical constraints differ, the underlying objective remains the same: creating spaces that enhance everyday life."Residential design taught me that the most successful spaces are the ones that positively influence daily life," she explains. "The goal is not simply to create beautiful spaces, but spaces that genuinely improve how people live and feel."That philosophy is increasingly reflected in yacht interiors, where many of the design principles first established in luxury homes are finding a place on board. Comfort has become as important as craftsmanship, with natural materials, layered textures, softer forms and flexible family spaces replacing more formal, highly decorative interiors.Owners, Carla believes, no longer want a yacht that resembles a luxury hotel. Instead, they are looking for spaces that capture the comfort and familiarity of home while still delivering an exceptional level of refinement.Her experience across residential, hospitality and marine projects also provides an insight into broader lifestyle trends before they become firmly established within the yacht sector."Wellness, longevity, remote work, multigenerational living and experiential luxury all appeared in residential projects before becoming central topics in yacht design discussions," she says.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/399621/image/large-a481cddb12b2f269b900cafcae986470.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/399621">Wellness beyond the spaAlthough wellness is often associated with onboard spas, gyms and treatment rooms, Carla believes those features represent only a small part of the conversation."For me, wellness is about creating an environment that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing," she says. "It includes light, acoustics, air quality, materials, ergonomics, privacy and connection to nature."Many of these elements are subtle, but together they shape the way people experience a space. Natural daylight, carefully considered acoustics and materials that create warmth and tactility all contribute to an environment that encourages relaxation without drawing attention to themselves."The most important wellness elements are often invisible," Carla explains. "A space that reduces stress, improves sleep, encourages relaxation and creates a sense of balance can be just as impactful as a spa or fitness centre."Applying these principles aboard a yacht inevitably presents additional challenges, but she believes the design intent should remain consistent. "We carefully consider natural light, circadian rhythms, material selection, airflow, acoustics and visual connection to the sea," she says. "Every design decision should contribute to a sense of comfort and harmony."Technology also has an increasingly important role to play, although Carla argues that its success lies in remaining largely unnoticed. "The most successful innovations are often the least visible. Instead of asking which wellness amenities should be incorporated into a yacht, Carla and her team began with a more fundamental question: what would happen if wellbeing became the starting point for the entire design process?<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/389939/image/large-547bc95ee64178f331ae3c095a2caac4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/389939">The answer extends beyond dedicated wellness facilities to encompass every aspect of the interior, from proportion and lighting to colour, texture and spatial flow. Each element has the potential to influence how people think, feel and behave while on board, creating environments that support emotional comfort as much as physical health.Looking ahead, Carla believes wellness will follow a similar trajectory to sustainability, becoming an expected element of every new project rather than a specialist consideration."The future of luxury is not simply about what a yacht offers," she concludes. "It is about how it makes people feel."As client expectations continue to evolve, it is this breadth of experience across residential, hospitality and yacht design that places Carla in an ideal position to respond to a new era of luxury – one in which wellbeing is becoming as fundamental as craftsmanship, comfort and performance.

What began as a four-month mission to complete the interior of a 78-metre custom yacht has evolved into a major interior manufacturing operation. Founded in 2020 by long-time industry colleagues Roger Myers and Cyril Bieri,&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7319" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Superyacht Interiors (Company)">Superyacht Interiors Dubai</a>&nbsp;has grown from a team of 172 craftsmen into a workforce of more than 350 specialists, delivering complex yacht interiors, bespoke furniture packages and high-end residential projects from facilities in Dubai and Oman. We spoke with Roger about the systems, facilities and strategies that underpin their approach.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/400470/image/large-4ceb08833994d9b729841ee78f6e196b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/400470">What has been the most significant change in the business since completing your first yacht project?The biggest transformation has been in our engineering and manufacturing capabilities. In the beginning, our focus was on assembling the right team and delivering the interior of the 78-metre yacht to the standards expected by European shipyards and designers. Since then, we have invested heavily in engineering, production systems and machinery. What started as a project-driven operation has evolved into a fully integrated manufacturing business with dedicated engineering departments, advanced CNC machining capabilities, specialised finishing facilities and robust quality control systems. Our objective has always been to combine traditional yacht craftsmanship with modern manufacturing processes while maintaining the standards expected within the superyacht sector.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/400467/image/large-60153eb48725bce03601f1af50379f27.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/400467">How has your production capacity evolved as the company has grown?When we launched, we had 172 employees. Today, our core workforce sits at around 350 specialists, although we have demonstrated the ability to scale significantly when projects require it. During peak production on an ongoing Northern European project, we expanded to almost 500 personnel to support areas such as finishing, veneer preparation and painting. At standard production levels, we’re able to deliver approximately 1,200-square-metres of luxury yacht interiors annually. With extended shifts and overtime, that capacity increases to around 1,500-square-metres.One of the key lessons we've learned is that capacity is not simply about workforce numbers. It’s about understanding production bottlenecks and investing in the areas that create the greatest efficiencies. Paint, veneer processing and machining all involve curing or drying periods, so extending operations through additional shifts allows us to maximise utilisation of those assets.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/400468/image/large-bbfff37808bf54abf0581945a33727ca.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/400468">You have recently invested significantly in engineering and digital manufacturing. What is driving that strategy?Efficiency is a major focus for us as we look towards the future. Over the past year, we have invested heavily in CAD+T engineering software alongside ERP and SAP systems that allow us to track materials and components throughout the production process. Traditionally, yacht interiors have relied heavily on 2D engineering. We’re now transitioning towards fully integrated 3D workflows. The advantage is that the engineering model automatically generates bills of materials, cut lists and manufacturing information, which can then be transferred directly to our production machinery. Alongside the software investment, we have recruited highly experienced specialists from leading European yacht interior companies to support the implementation. Our goal is for the majority of our engineering output to be delivered through these integrated digital systems over the next 12 months.What investments have you made on the manufacturing side?We’ve invested approximately €2 million in machinery and equipment, with a long-term investment plan of around €4 million over the next five years. This includes new 5-axis and 4-axis CNC machining centres, upgraded spray-line systems and additional finishing capabilities. We have also expanded our paint operations significantly, with two large spray facilities now fully operational and a third currently being introduced. These investments are already generating substantial gains in efficiency, production quality and programme reliability. At the same time, we continue to invest in people. Technology is important, but it still relies on skilled craftsmen, engineers and project managers to deliver the final result.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/400471/image/large-0fb460c7fc1ccd3662c37cb698e733d6.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/400471">How does the new Oman facility fit into your manufacturing strategy?Capacity was certainly one factor, but the facility is really about manufacturing optimisation. The Oman facility has been established as a dedicated machining centre and houses much of our newest CNC equipment, focusing on high-volume cutting and machining operations. By relocating these activities, we can maintain a cleaner, quieter and more controlled production environment in Dubai, which is where clients visit for factory acceptance tests, mock-ups and project reviews. Machining generates dust, noise and material movement. Separating those activities allows us to improve workflow efficiency while creating a better environment for assembly, finishing and client interaction.&nbsp;How important is vertical integration to your business model?It’s fundamental. One of the reasons we remain competitive internationally is because we undertake a significant amount of work in-house. We have dedicated engineering, joinery, upholstery, finishing and metalworking capabilities operating within the same organisation. That allows us to maintain control over programme schedules, quality standards and costs. It also improves communication between departments and reduces reliance on external suppliers. Our objective is to combine those traditional skills with modern engineering and manufacturing systems, creating an environment where designers, shipyards and owners can realise increasingly ambitious projects. Hydro Tec has announced the appointment of Myriam Cutolo as Executive Vice President. 

“To have to create a theme brings a connection to the interior, as if it were a book,” remarks Sander Sinot about his latest gripping story: the 77-metre Black Shark. As the yacht fast approaches her completion date, we are all itching to skip to the ending of this tale. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/108455/image/large-6e173e0dd4d4b92d18f756ca7b7fc11c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/108455">For the story to be completed, an untold number of man-hours have been invested into making an adventurous owner’s dream come true. Having summoned the industry’s top-tier team of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2208" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Imperial Yachts (Company)">Imperial</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/69" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Winch Design (Company)">Winch Design</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/926" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design (Company)">Sinot</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a>, the owner challenged the designers with adopting the hard-hitting shark theme and translating it into the body and soul of a next-generation superyacht. “It’s a matter of how you are able to interpret things, no matter how literally. I think that’s the trick,” says Sinot.&nbsp;Despite the project being something of an unusual beast, Sinot ensured that the translation of the theme did not go against the grain of his design principles. “A design should not exist just ‘because’ it has been designed. It should be a manifestation of something for purpose, aesthetics and function."<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/186102/image/large-5d961f2e3279ad77c0d98cdc0e6fdb28.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/186102">“A yacht is not just an object of wealth: it is something you can use to move across the globe and see things that other people can’t. Superyacht's make you feel good, and the interiors are what makes owners want to welcome people on board and enjoy the surroundings together. It should feel like a safe place to be.” That said, what will manifest itself inside the deep black metallic exterior of the Shark isn’t yet crystal clear. But what we do know is that all those who step on board dive straight into an underwater world awash with examples of the perpetual predator theme. To help us delve deeper into the concept, Senior Designer and Project Manager at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/926" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design (Company)">Sinot Yacht Architecture &amp; Design</a>, Zlatko Imamovic, answers our questions.&nbsp;The client is energetic, very interesting and involved. He liked the fact we could use a lot of new technologies in our design such as 3D printing and scanning. It was very clear from the beginning that he wanted to create something unique to correspond to the theme, but still ensure that the spaces are warm, comfortable and inviting. Because of this clear direction, we were able to start creating the interiors in 3D from day one. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/186103/image/large-9c8564e7cae0731279884f6ec069975b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/186103">In some of the spaces we have black ceilings, which are quite a bold statement. If you zoom in to the details, it all relates to the theme of ‘black’ or ‘shark’, either together or separately in a subliminal way. Despite the clear theme, we didn’t want to end up building a theme park inside. You will not see shark fins as door handles, or any other literal translations of the theme. Instead we have added hidden teeth inside the interior, which are not directly noticeable but this is the way we decided to build up the tension inside.We didn’t know what shark skin looked like until we used a microscope and were able to study its pattern. Their skin is made to reduce the drag on the water with a texture similar to the outside of a golf ball – we translated this into a 3D print and have covered entire walls with this pattern. The outcome is a very interesting tactile texture on the wall. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/186100/image/large-55e5a511cf56152cac88e4e74f1a83b2.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/186100">We have told a story throughout the interior with a clear distinction between each deck. This has been divided up to create the perception that, as you move up through the yacht, you are either below the water, on the surface of the water or above the water.We offered the owner a 360-degree view of the yacht sent to his iPad and a virtual reality (VR) tour. This way, he could click anywhere and walk through Black Shark virtually. Thanks to these new technologies, it only took a few months to complete the interior design. Because of this project, VR mock-ups are now an integral part of our design process.By the time the keel was laid, we had long finished all the visuals and had made a start on the full-size mockups. We were building four of them in order to see our selection of materials together, which is an important part of our design process. To have a controlled, clean procedure, you need a seal of approval for each step so, in the end, you can ensure the owner will be very satisfied.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/186758/image/large-3a8ff277c6a0d6b607bfd3b9a2e64c9e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/186758">We endeavoured to create a comfortable and liveable environment, so needed to be really careful how we translated the idea of the shark. Yes, we have sofas, armchairs and furniture made of nice soft fabrics, but these items are still connected to the overall theme in a way that ties the entire design together in a sophisticated style. Merijn de Waard sat down with Lars Windhorst, owner and Founder of the Tennor Group that owns <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5275" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (Company)">Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (FSG)</a>, and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/53385" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug Shipyard has been saved by Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft shipyard (2021-07-16 19:15:00 +0200)">which has recently acquired the German shipyard Nobiskrug</a>. In August it was announced that <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/53575" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lars Windhorst completes Nobiskrug takeover (2021-08-20 08:45:00 +0200)">Lars Windhorst had come to the rescue of the shipyard</a> and in Monaco the yard once again had its own stand positioned in front of the Yacht Club de Monaco, in a show of strength for the new management.&nbsp;So my first question is, why did you buy&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a>, and what is your idea and your plan behind this acquisition?About a year ago we hired Philipp Maracke as CEO of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5275" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (Company)">FSG</a> and that action solidified our commitment to make the shipyard a sustainable success, no matter the resources in terms of capital commitment. While the heritage of the shipyard and the increasing prospects in the market were a major part of this decision, this was also fuelled by the fact that we got the right management team into the company. Philipp brought in people who he trusted to make the venture a success and I trusted him to see that end.&nbsp;When he came onboard in October 2020 I had the feeling that we had the right person in the role. He had the motivation, the passion and the commitment to do it and I said “OK, I will support you all the way and if you find something which makes sense, is lucrative and will help us grow and fulfill our vision to build something bigger, more sustainable and profitable, we will do it.”<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/98799/image/large-9a54de6d47c002319e951295f26172fa.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/98799">He came up with the potential acquisition of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> when there was first rumour of them being in trouble in March/April 2021 and it made sense to me. There are two areas in shipbuilding where you can still have margins and can potentially make money. On one hand you have more complex, technologically advanced vessels such as research, naval and military vessels. Anything relating to innovation, energy technologies and the like is already covered under <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5275" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (Company)">FSG</a>’s market. The other area however is superyachts and we are currently in another boom for that industry and so the timing made sense to us.&nbsp;In addition, this is probably one of the first times in the last 20-30 years that a well-established, high-end brand with a strong track record came on the market, which in itself is a rare event. In my opinion, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> is one of the very few shipyards in the world that has the skill and capability to build large fully customised superyachts. It has the infrastructure and the reputation and almost everyone knows the name and in addition most of the staff have remained with the shipyard which has retained their level of expertise. I believe we were the only bidder to offer to take over all the employees, except the steel building department which we don’t need because we have that trade at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5275" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (Company)">FSG</a>.&nbsp;We see this as a forward looking investment, where we will grow rather than consolidate. We need the know-how and the resources of those employees to facilitate the growth that we want to enjoy over the next few years. So that's why it was a rather easy decision to jump and move into this sector. The company is 100 percent owned by me and between Philipp and myself it was a very unbureaucratic and quick decision process. We are very pleased that we were able to win the auction and buy <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a>.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/203683/image/large-6d8021c836d0ab4368cc45757972e89f.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/203683">Did you ever consider building yachts under&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5275" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (Company)">FSG</a>, and had the&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a>&nbsp;opportunity not arisen, might that have been something we would have seen?It was on our radar and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5275" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (Company)">FSG</a> was already involved with the industry in a few ways. If, for example, you look at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/44" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Abeking & Rasmussen (Company)">Abeking &amp; Rasmussen</a> 98.4-metre superyacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/5752" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Aviva98.4m (322'10&quot;)Abeking & Rasmussen2017">Aviva</a>, we built the entire hull because they did not have the capability in-house to do so.&nbsp;Due to the expertise of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5275" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (Company)">FSG</a> in large scale steel construction it is known worldwide and so yes, we were thinking about it but it is hard to break into the industry without a brand.That is another reason why <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> is perfect for us, because there is a real synergy between the two companies and we can build on the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> brand. We currently have two world famous yachts out there, one is <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4450" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sailing Yacht A142.81m (468'6&quot;)Nobiskrug2017">Sailing Yacht A</a> and the other is <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6282" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Artefact80.0m (262'6&quot;)Nobiskrug2020">Artefact</a> but we know we have another one or two orders coming in for truly innovative vessels. We will build on the reputation and show in the coming years that there is much more to come. There is more that <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> will bring to the market, with high end, super high quality and very individually complex, technologically advanced yachts. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/207041/image/large-c5e596c1b037840fdf438d6b4b86ba09.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/207041">And in terms of size, is there a minimum or rather a limit to what you will be building?We would not say no per se but we will start at around 60 metres and go right up to the largest sizes, with the capability to build vessels even toward 170 metres.How about the existing projects? Are they all going to be completed by&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a>? Or is that still ongoing conversations with clients?At this time these are still ongoing conversations. We know that some will stay and others are yet to be decided, but we also have a pipeline of new projects which will soon be announced.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/196920/image/large-8556f6fcaf442229c8b5a199cc0094b8.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/196920">So in terms of speculation building, is that something you believe in as well? Is that something you would be interested in?I do not think it is necessary to build on speculation with the current flow of the market and it is certainly not our current strategy. Over the next few months we will come into a situation where we have to select what we can do or decide to increase capacity because while we still have some capacity at this time, I see that quickly filling up. If we only do a small percentage of our current pipeline we will be fully loaded very soon.And coming in now as a shipyard owner, what in your view can still be done better in the industry, where is there room for improvement?I cannot pretend that I am the inside advisor for <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a>, but what I know personally from my own experience as a charterer and customer is that style and technology are hugely important. These will be the cornerstones of our philosophy for <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> and we want to retain the super high end German mark of top quality engineering inside and out. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/194843/image/large-3033b2e6be8b18837ae863c9e8bf456f.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/194843">Are you also going to be actively involved as well? Will you use your own network with clients and in the negotiations of contracts?Absolutely, and the good thing is that if I talk to fellow entrepreneurs or billionaire friends who are keen to buy yachts it is a very natural and pleasant conversation. The topic is enjoyable and it does not cause me or my companions pain or stress to discuss, it is an exciting topic. I will continue to do this through my vast and very extensive global network and we have already started to harvest the fruits of these very valuable conversations.Do you expect younger people to begin to get involved in yachting, especially with younger tech-based businesses emerging?&nbsp;I spend about a third of my time in the US and we are very well connected in Silicon Valley, probably more so than anyone else. I did a talk last week with 40 or so tech entrepreneurs and introduced them to <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> and the reaction was very positive, with many of them looking to visit the shipyard. The world is also opening up, allowing people to travel even more.I do believe that young tech entrepreneurs who made a lot of money in the last two years are definitely a key target group of ours and we are extremely well equipped to serve them. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6282" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Artefact80.0m (262'6&quot;)Nobiskrug2020">Artefact</a> is a fantastic example of that, she is a complex, technology focused and innovative yacht that is environmentally conscious, quiet and low emission – exactly the type of vessel young people are looking for. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/191672/image/large-c737c5720a07dccff7ad6931446109d5.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/191672">On that point, how is&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a>&nbsp;going to be involved with sustainability, which is obviously very important, especially for the younger generation?As I said I am not an aficionado of this industry, but as far as I know there is no other yacht in the fleet today which can compare to <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6282" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Artefact80.0m (262'6&quot;)Nobiskrug2020">Artefact</a> when it comes to environmental-friendliness. This yacht has been built to the highest environmental standards and is an example of how we will continue to build yachts. The good thing is that it is not the only business we have, overall it makes up five, maybe 10 percent of what we do, meaning that it is not such a huge investment with a lot of pressure to make money immediately. It is a business that we want to hold onto for the long term, to invest in and grow.&nbsp;It also has more than just monetary value to us, it is a great asset to own, a fantastic brand but also a nice topic to talk about within our network. I will be able to help friends obtain the right yacht and I aim to hold the company for the very long term, grow it and ultimately position it at the top of the market.And in that sense is your investment partly passion driven as well? Because shipyards aren’t the easiest industry to make money out of…There is a passion there for sure, but it is really something which we want to build in a commercially viable way. Business can only be sustainable if it makes money and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> will make money. Are there any other fields you would be interested in?We always have our eyes open, we are optimistic in that sense, but no there is nothing in particular that we are looking for.And finally, are you going to be building your own yachts at&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a>?Of course! There is no other way and nowhere else I would build them!&nbsp;
