Nobiskrug has recently secured a build contract for the construction of a new 62-metre custom motor yacht project that will be completed at its facility in Rendsburg, Germany. The shipyard reports that Imperial have acted as brokers during the sale of the project and will be overseeing the construction period until 2021 as owner’s representatives.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/34516/image/large-20f53ea019b01b840c0404742d0fad29.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/34516">The project is described as a blend of a classic and a contemporary yacht with modern lines and a prominent vertical bow, all created by celebrated design studio, Espen Oeino International. The German shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> has filed for insolvency, according to reports by German news broadcasters. The bankruptcy filings come after <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5541" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Privinvest (Company)">Privinvest</a> had not seen any returns on profit, with an investment of approximately 178 million euros, in recent years.

Nearly a year after the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> project 794’s <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/50072" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Keel laid of 62m Øino designed Nobiskrug Project 794 (2019-06-27 16:00:00 +0200)">keel laying</a> in Kiel, Northern Germany, the shipyard together with owner’s representative <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2208" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Imperial Yachts (Company)">Imperial</a> celebrated the 62-metre motor yacht’s next stage of construction as the completed hull and superstructure was moved to <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug’s</a> modern outfitting hall in Rendsburg where she will be completed.
