Melich FarinhaSeen here anchored off the island of Madeira after a successful series of sea trials on the Baltic Sea is Nobiskrug's new hybrid Artefact, one of the yard's most eco-friendly projects to date. One of many stand-out features onboard is Artefact's sophisticated propulsion system. Built to the latest IMO Tier III regulations, the system relies on power from various generators onboard and an array of Lithium-ion batteries and can run off battery power alone for short distances and manoeuvring. Commissioned by a visionary and technically-minded owner, Artefact is the design work of Gregory C Marshall (exterior) and Reymond Langton (interior).
