Northrop and Johnson sell two superyachts

Northrop and Johnson has announced two sales to SuperYachtTimes.com. Firstly the sale of Antarctica, a 44.71m Feadship, sold by Kevin Merrigan and Luuk van Zanten of Yacht Marketing Limited. Antarctica, a classic gentleman’s motoryacht, has a history as colorful as her worldwide travel.

Well loved and maintained, she was reluctantly for sale and offered at $6,950,000. With a Lloyd’s classification, she represents a truly classic collector’s yacht with excellent charter potential.

The second sale reported by Northrop and Johnson is the sale of Gloria, 38.4m Jongert/Lowland. Michael Nethersole, Sales Broker at Northrop and Johnson, assisted long time client and yachtsman, Peter deSavary, in the purchase of the sailing yacht with Wallace Donker of Ardell Yachts & Ships in Fort Lauderdale.

Gloria has been refitted twice, in 2002 and 2006. She features a large owner’s cabin situated aft with en-suite bathroom and accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms. Her new owner plans to sail the Mediterranean this summer and the Caribbean in the winter.
