Northrop and Johnson welcomes new addition to brokerage division

Northrop and Johnson Fort Lauderdale is proud to announce Patta Sloan, a 23-year veteran of marine sales, marketing and public relations, has joined Northrop and Johnson’s sales team as a broker.

Patta’s professional background links her to some of the world’s most highly respected companies in yachting. She has represented both shipbuilders and yacht dealers, selling new construction and brokering pre-owned yachts. With a career that began in 1984 marketing sport fishing boats and luxury cruisers for a Hatteras dealer network, she went on to earn a reputation in large yacht sales after successfully launching marketing and sales efforts for Lazzara Yachts in the construction of their first 30 vessels. Patta was then hired to direct marketing and assist sales for Georgia based Intermarine Yachts, the company sold and delivered 14 semi-custom motoryachts ranging from 95’ to 145’ during her tenure.

Patta has provided event marketing services for companies including Lazzara, Christensen and Burger Yachts, and has served as a sales and marketing consultant to Palmer Johnson and Derecktor Shipyards. For the last three years, Patta worked exclusively as a yacht broker for Churchill Yacht Partners and enjoyed strong success in the large yacht market.

Based out of Ft. Lauderdale, Patta is eager to utilize her broad marketing background and intense knowledge of the marine industry to assist clients in their yachting decisions. Through Northrop and Johnson expanded network of offices in the U.S. and Europe, Patta is poised to direct her clients with confidentiality, integrity and an unparalleled dedication to satisfaction.
