Over 100 crew members and distinguished guests attended the function where the recently arrived yacht crew and owners were able to meet with every aspect of the industry in Thailand and make immediate useful contacts, suppliers and friends.
Bill Barrette, Northrop and Johnson’s Brokerage Manager in Thailand, commented “It was a wonderful function to be involved in and we are delighted to see so many new superyachts arriving in Phuket at one time. It further enhances Thailand as a premier playground for superyachts and we look forward to working with all of the crew’s in the future”
The food and drink flowed all evening and a variety of short but suite speeches were made by key figures from the industry making all of the yachts and crews feel very welcome.
The recently arrived superyachts were the a 50 metre Sensation Yachts, a 45.7 metre Palmer Johnson, a 38.5 metre San Lorenzo, a 37 metre Heesen, a 33 metre Mangusta, a 35 metre Azimut and a 36.5 metre Schweers
Rico Stapel, Northrop and Johnson’s Charter Manager in Thailand, added “this further helps us add quality yachts into the portfolio in Thailand meaning that more people than ever before can charter genuine superyachts in Thailand and enjoy this wonderful experience”
The party was a great start for the high season in Phuket which runs November through April.
