Numarine International has announced an innovative ‘facelift’ evolution of the shipyard’s 78 Hardtop and 78 Flybridge models.
Company owner and CEO, Omer Malaz, comments, “introducing new models is a natural evolution and continuing on from the great success of our new 70 Hardtop, we turned our attention to possibly replacing the 78’s. Each and every time a concept was put together for replacement models of this size category, we confirmed our initial instinct that the existing hulls and configurations did everything perfectly as they were.”
Designers were asked to apply subtle aesthetic changes, resulting in a revitalised look of Numarine’s signature design. The new vessels will be powered by twin Cat C18 Acert 1150hp 2300 rpm engines, with a cruising speed of 25 knots and a maximum speed of up to 32 knots. The first 23.98 metre new look model enters production in September with completion due in February 2015.
