Ocean Independence Zurich recently hosted a wonderfully successful event in their home city to launch the brand new charter portfolio to a large group of potential and existing clients.
Held on the 15 March at the incredibly beautiful restaurant Zimmerleuten, (see www.zimmerleuten.ch for more details), the evening was attended by more than 50 guests.
Lisa Cavicchioli, Zurich's newest charter broker, organised the event with the support of the marketing department, and was instrumental in sourcing several sponsors to cover almost 100% of the costs. The format of the evening was to greet the guests with canapes and drinks, after which they were treated to several short presentations from the event sponsors and of course OCI.
Representing Nick Dean, Tim Clark flew over from our UK office to present the actual portfolio to the interested audience, after Peter Hürzeler had already amused them with a brief overview of the company and its history, including the now infamous picture of him as a young captain covered in grease.
The sponsors for the event were Helvetia Wealth Management, Big Air, Amels (who gave a very interesting presentation about yacht building) and Boat International, who were not present, but who donated goodie bags for all the visitors. The goodie bags were a big hit with the guests, each containing the latest issue of Superyachts, Boat International, Meer & Yachten, some yacht brochures and of course our magnificent new Portfolio.
