Located at the Ft Lauderdale Marine Centre, the office is managed by Rebecca Castellano, formerly of the Marine Industries Association of South Florida. Rebecca is an experienced ex-Nurse of more than 20 years and is well known in the Ft Lauderdale yacht industry. The US office broadens OMI’s international network with offices & agents already in Palma, Spain; Antibes, France; Amsterdam, Holland & Sydney, Australia.
Additionally, OMI announces a key partnership with ‘The First Call’, who are highly experienced in providing 24/7 emergency medical assistance and co-ordination to the maritime community. They are a major call centre located in a hospital with doctors and trauma surgeons on hand. OMI have negotiated exclusive rates with The First Call which represent significant cost saving to that provided by other vendors who provide a similar service.
