Oceanco has recently presented an exciting new 90 metre superyacht concept in collaboration with Dennis Ingemansson Design. Named Sunny Memories, her design is based upon the proven Oceanco hull platform and is characterised by striking volumes as well as sleek, elegant lines.
On board she accommodates 14 guests over several generous cabins. The six double guest cabins are all located on the main deck, with access to an extensive dining area and impressive saloon which opens up on to the pool deck with direct access to the sea.
The upper deck is completely dedicated to the owner, with a split level owner’s suite featuring a large office and living area, a spacious TV room saturated with natural light thanks to large windows, a well as a gym and massage room. The highlight is undoubtedly the private whirlpool on the foredeck.
Describing his design process when initially putting pen to paper, Dennis Ingemansson comments, “Her lines are inspired by the ‘Belle Epoque’ period. Art Nouveau emerged from this period, which was characterised by optimism, regional peace, economic prosperity and technological, scientific and cultural innovations. This unique and largely decorative art movement distinguished by its curvilinear forms and nature-inspired motifs, is what I wanted to sketch: elegant and sleek timeless exterior lines with classic and modern detailing. And still with my eyes closed, the dancing lines progressed into a beautiful superyacht design.”
In regards to her performance she will be powered by twin engines of 4,830 hp each, providing her with a top speed of 18.5 knots. Naval architecture will be undertaken by BMT in collaboration with Oceanco, whilst her interior design is yet to be confirmed.
