Designed by Italian designer Fulvio de Simoni, French shipyard Ocea has added yet another model to its Oceanemo Sport Utility Yacht range. During last week’s Monaco Yacht Show the Oceanemo 55 was introduced, adding to the range’s existing 33-metre and 44-metre models.
The new model builds on yacht developer Aldo Manna’s vision of creating a long range superyacht that can offer her owner exceedingly more, in terms of space and cruising capabilities, than conventional yachts of this size available on the market today.
The new Oceanemo 55 is designed with guest activities centralised around the high-rise superstructure. Three aft-facing decks look out over the open aft deck where Oceanemo stores her fleet of tenders and toys. A large water-level hangar below can store a limo tender measuring up to 9.6 metres along with a crew tender and two jet skis.
A hybrid propulsion system can be installed upon request from the client to not only increase the yacht’s range, but also offer an even more comfortable experience on board with minimised vibrations.
