The European Client visited Nomad just as the final horns were being blasted to signal the end of the 2009 Monaco Yacht show. Silence’s exterior was penned by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6327" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Kurt Strand Super Yacht Designs (Company)">Kurt Strand Design</a>, while her interiors stemmed from the drawing boards of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7451" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Acoya Design House (Company)">Acoya Design House</a>. Described as “Nordic refined simplicity,” the interiors of the 1,900 GT yacht blend green, sustainable materials with a subtle colour palette. Harmonisation with the surroundings is crucial to Silence’s design and the desire to create a balanced and soothing space informed many of the interior design decisions.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/295770/image/large-901e52770a60b1e27ecbd03c6e5e61ff.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/295770">The superyacht concept showcases a large and airy aft lounge situated on the main deck, which opens to the beach club’s pool and another seating area, connecting the interior with the exterior. The helipad situated at her foredeck can be easily converted into a sun lounging area. The sundeck also offers the opportunity for guests to enjoy the Jacuzzi or an evening outdoor cinema.
