After an exhaustive worldwide search, Oceania Marine has announced the appointment of its new marine coatings manager. Andy Shephard is leaving his base in Holland and moving to Whangarei, New Zealand to take over management of Oceania Marine Coatings as of May 2012 providing the company with the benefit of his extensive experience in the Superyacht painting industry.
Managing Director, Martin Gleeson states; “Andy is the essential, final ingredient in what we are trying to set up at Oceania Marine Shipyard. We have great paint facilities, a great paint team and now we have the right guy to manage it”.
Andy has completed a series of major superyacht painting and fairing projects in recent years and has particular experience in the ‘special effects’ coating systems currently available for Superyachts.
