Ocibar announces expansion as it purchases 50% of Marina Santa Eulalia

Ocibar has extended its reach with a 50 percent acquisition of Marina Santa Eulalia in Ibiza, with a concession until 2046. Marina Santa EulaliaThe Majorcan-based company, which specialises in the construction and management of marinas has been in operation for more than 30 years, and took root in Ibiza back in 2019 when it took over the Marina in Botafoc. Ocibar now offers more than 1,000 berthing points on the eastern side of the Island, as Marina Santa Eulalia can host up to 763 vessels up to 22 metres in length.

Marina Santa Eulalia, the largest marina on Ibiza, is also home to a Travel Lft of 70 tonnes and an expansive commercial area filled with restaurants and leisure facilities. In total, the marina spans 572 square kilometres of surface and 170 kilometers of coastline.

It’s location provides the best of both worlds: the thriving, energetic city and nightlife the island is famed for is just 14 kilometres away; while the marina also benefit from a cluster of covers that cling to the Southeasterly side of the island, which provide secluded retreats where visitors can sail around the crystal waters and kickback on the soft sandy shores, away from the crowds.Ibiza stock imagesAlongside its marinas in Ibiza, Ocibar also owns two other sites: Port Tarraco in Tarragona-Catalonia and Port Adriano in Mallorca. All of which, Ocibar states, offers “a personalized customer service that ensures boats and crews receive the premium and high-quality services they need during their stay in port.”
