On board charter superyacht Suncoco
Built in 1992 by the Dutch shipyard Lowland Yachts, the 31.52 metre superyacht Suncoco is a charter yacht based in the Eastern Mediterranean. SuperYacht Timesโ Maarten Janssen enjoyed a delicious lunch on Suncoco last week whilst in Greece, and was impressed by both the high quality of the food as well as the impeccable service given by the crew.

In addition to fantastic food and a highly professional crew of six, itโs not hard to see why Suncoco is such a popular charter yacht in the region. She accommodates up to eight guests on board over four spacious cabins, all of which are decorated in the same palette seen in the rest of the interior of creams contrasted with light wooden furniture. The twin cabin also includes pastel pink and yellow detailing, whilst one of the double cabins utilises pastel shades of blue.

Her main salon and formal dining area are sophisticated and welcoming, with large windows surrounding the entire area making it both light and airy, with spectacular views. Outside, she provides plenty of space to enjoy the best of life on board, with a Jacuzzi tub on the flybridge with comfortable, large sunloungers, and a spacious outdoor table to enjoy the best of the al fresco dining experience. She also comes with a wide range of tenders and water toys for guests to enjoy at their leisure.

Since her launch she has undergone two significant refits, one in 1997 by CRN Spa in which new teak was placed on the bridge deck and flybridge as well as being fully repainted, and the other in 2006 by Bradford Marine. In the latest refit, her topsides were painted, her superstructure touched up, the bottom paints and her shaft seals were renewed.
Suncoco is currently available for charter with Atalanta Golden Yachts. Rates start at โฌ34,000 in low season, and go up to โฌ42,000 in high season.
