As part of the celebration of their 50th anniversary this year, British shipyard Princess are currently displaying their flagship Princess 98, 88 and V72 yachts at the London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show. Located in the historic St. Katherine’s Dock, SuperYacht Times were invited onboard yesterday, where we were welcomed with glasses of champagne as well as speeches from Peter Bryant, Event Director of the inaugural London show, as well as Commercial Director of Princess Motor Yacht Sales, Max Whale.
Whale states, “Princess Motor Yacht Sales immediately understood the opportunity of the London Yacht, Jet and Prestige Car Show. We are proud to have been one of the first supporters of the Show and have been integral in shaping the way that super yachts are displayed and linked to other luxury goods at the show. The London Yacht, Jet and Prestige Car Show gives us a unique platform to show those who may already be familiar with the adrenaline of supercar ownership, or the convenience of owning their own plane, the unique and bespoke luxury experiences that can be created with Princess ownership.”
Peter Bryant, Event Director of this inaugural show said: “We needed the right location to provide both a natural setting for the in-water element of the show and a prestigious backdrop for our international visitors, and St Katharine Docks was the obvious choice. This is a major luxury lifestyle event spanning two iconic central London locations and the first of its kind in the capital.”
The display of vessels in the Docks’ Central Basin includes two Princess motor yachts; the Princess 98 and 88; and the Princess V72 sports coupe. The marina is also host to a variety of other luxury yachts, superyacht tenders and small craft. The London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show commenced yesterday and will conclude tomorrow.
