Showcasing tropical decor, the beach club’s opulent design reflects the ambiance of a Tahiti island retreat. The large cabana-style cocktail bar serves as the focal point of the beach club, surrounded by tall wicker stools. Featuring balconies that lower to extend the yacht’s beam even further, the beach club offers the ultimate entertainment area. Enhancing the yacht's connection with her surroundings, the beach club features suspended sunpads elevated by tender cranes and boasts a luxurious infinity pool. The suite also houses a private siesta room, a dedicated vanity area and a spacious dressing room, complete with leather seating. The stateroom’s vibrant ensuite showcases a large statement wall, adorned with a tropical rainforest-inspired design, painted over a golden base layer. Striking sculptures and engraved wall art adorn the yacht’s interior design. The simplistic and elegant design contrasts with the more eccentric aesthetic prevalent in other areas onboard. Leather armchairs, carefully crafted coffee tables and a velvet burgundy sofa, create an aura of vintage glamour. An oversized silver alligator serves as the focal point of the space. The captivating art piece is draped over an emerald velvet sofa, illuminated by warm overhead lighting. An expansive carpet defines the lounge area, weaving together sky blue and deep green shades, forming a serene ambiance. The lounge leads out onto the tranquil exterior deck, featuring a luxurious Jacuzzi and extensive dining table, making this the ideal spot to host formal dinner parties onboard. Yet beneath the surface, the real differences emerge in structure, interpretation, and legal context.We asked ChatGPT to compare two superyacht insurance proposals. The outcome was structured, fast, and seemingly logical. In reality, Policy A may contain a separate war exclusion clause elsewhere in the wording that has the same, or even stricter, effect.2. Comparing apples with orangesOne operates on a Named Perils basis (only explicitly listed risks), the other on an All Risks basis (everything is covered unless excluded). The same term, but a completely different scope. Deductibles and sub-limits are overlookedAI tends to focus on the main coverage and premium, while the real differences are often found in the sub-limits. Such details are typically scattered throughout the policy and are easily missed.It also struggles to recognise requirements for minimum underlying covers, such as mandatory national healthcare or other primary insurance arrangements. These elements can be critical to the validity and effectiveness of the coverage, yet are rarely identified without expert review.4. What is NOT included remains invisibleChatGPT can only compare what is written. It cannot identify what is missing. No cyber clause? AI will not flag it, because there is nothing to read. A specialist, however, knows what should be there and recognises the gap immediately.It also lacks the ability to properly assess how coverage is structured.
