The Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss) unites and represents the world’s leading builders of large yachts. Over the past 3.5 years Robert van Tol has been working as Project manager at the SYBAss Secretariat, combining this with a Master of Science in Business Administration at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He graduated in June after writing his final thesis on Association management, choosing the topic ‘Cooperation between trade associations’.
Robert is very much committed to the mission of SYBAss and will continue his work at the Secretariat under the title of Operational Director. His main activities will be carrying out the SYBAss exhibition policy at the key yachting events, managing SYBAss projects, PR and web communications, and compiling the SYBAss statistical and economic reports.
Together with Theo J. Hooning (Secretary General) and Chris van Hooren (Technical & Environmental Director), the SYBAss Secretariat is equipped with high level staff, a wide range of expertise and a commitment to serving both SYBAss members and the superyacht industry as a whole.
