In the summer of 2013, Drettmann laid the keel of a 24 metre explorer yacht at the Dutch Acico shipyard in Enkhuizen. The Explorer, designed by Drettmann Yachts and Focus Yacht Design, will feature a diesel-electric POD drive system. It has been designed for a top speed of 13 knots and a range of 5,000nm.
You will be able to catch a glimpse of this yacht at the Düsseldorf Boat show, beacause Claudia and Albert Drettmann are taking the original stern of one of their 24-m Drettmann Explorer Yachts to the show.
