Oyster reports on another significant landmark in its Superyacht build programme. The first Oyster 125, by Dubois, has moved out of the build shed in preparation for her forthcoming launch and sailing trials in February. This magnificent yacht has been named Twilight by her owner and will be handed over early in the Spring.
David Tydeman, Oyster CEO commented: “This is a tremendous milestone for Oyster and our partnership with RMK and Dubois. The first Oyster 100 – Sarafin is now in the Caribbean and will take part in the 2013 St Barths Bucket in March. The second Oyster 100 – Penelope is currently in Malta, en route to Palma where she is available for sailing trails. This summer we will then have our third and largest ever yacht, the Oyster 125 – Twilight sailing in the Mediterranean. Recent refits at our Southampton yard, including performance yachts such as Leopard & Mari-Char III and the restoration of classics like Cambria and Merrymaid further endorse the large yacht capabilities of the Oyster Group”.
