The new 49 meter (161 foot) megayacht M/Y Destination FoxHarb’r Too, launched by Trinity Yachts last month, is being equipped with Palladium Technologies’ SiMON monitoring, alarm and control system.
The aluminum-hull tri-deck motoryacht is being fitted with five fully functional monitoring/alarm stations with alarm/acknowledgement panels in the pilothouse, engine control, crew area, engineer’s cabin and switchboard room. With a total of more than 330 sensor points, the SiMON network will interface with the electronic controllers for the twin Caterpillar 3512B main engines, as well as the yacht’s generators, fire systems, lighting systems, security and watertight doors, HVAC, tanks, bilges, pumps and valves, hydraulics, electrical AC/DC system and air compressor system.
“We are very proud of our outstanding working relationship with Trinity Yachts,” said Mike Blake, president and CEO of Palladium Technologies. “SiMON is the standard yacht monitoring, alarm and control system for new Trinity megayachts.”
M/Y Destination FoxHarb’r Too is being built at Trinity’s Gulfport, Miss., yard. The vessel is classified to ABS Maltese Cross A1 Yachting Service and is AMS and MCA compliant.
