MY Serqué has been fitted with a comprehensive suite of monitoring, control, alarms and security systems supplied by Palladium Technologies.
Based on Palladium’s powerful SiMON software, the Palladium installations on MY Serqué include custom-designed helm and flybridge panels, CCTV security cameras and fire-safety features, in addition to monitoring and alarms for all installed systems and equipment. The SiMON system monitors 320 sensor points, including fire/smoke sensors, bilges, tanks, batteries, refrigeration, hydraulics, doors and hatches, as well as electronic interfaces to the Caterpillar engines and Onan generators.
SiMON monitoring/control stations have been installed in the wheelhouse and lazarette, and a remote alarm panel has been placed in the crew’s lounge. The system provides up to 15 mimic screens showing the profile and layout of the yacht with overlays of indicators and alarms.
The SiMON C security suite includes cameras at the port and starboard gangway, aft deck and engine room, plus two underwater cameras on the transom area. The SiMON camera server computer is located in the wheelhouse.
Per classification society requirements, the fire system includes 42 smoke and heat detectors throughout the yacht in a zoned/loop configuration. The main fire system controller is located on the bridge, with three remote LCD alarm/acknowledgement panels around the vessel.
MY Serqué is a 130-foot (39.6-meter) aluminum-hull raised-pilothouse motoryacht. The boat is being custom re-built at the Lauderdale Marine Center in Fort Lauderdale.
