Pastrovich Studio has come up with an exciting new 80 metre superyacht concept named X – Prime. The design features generous volumes with a good balance between exterior and interior living areas. The final result is a world cruising vessel that is perfectly suited to owners’ live-aboard requirements.
Pastrovich approached the design with the idea of having a single deck dedicated to the owner at the heart of all on board operations. All on board areas are designed to feature separate zones, each with its own social, dining or relaxing purpose, instead of focusing on creating large open volumes on board. The studio managed to develop areas that now feel secluded, yet connected to all other areas on the deck. This setup is suited to large families cruising together and making use of the yacht for extended periods of time.
The owner’s suite is found on the top deck which is fitted with a panoramic deck and private balcony. All guest suites are located on the main deck, each with direct access to the main salon and apartment deck above.
The design focusses greatly on the sensation experienced by spending time at sea and the studio therefore developed a beach terrace the connects guests with the colours, sounds and textures of the ocean from the comfort of an exterior space not found anywhere else on board. The terrace is open on either side providing exceptional views to the surrounding environment while still being protected from the elements while underway or at anchor.
