Perini Navi’s new-generation E-volution sailing yacht fleet keeps growing as the Italian builder today announced the sale of the third addition to this new line of yachts. Expected to arrive at Perini’s Viareggio shipyard in Italy for outfitting in spring next year, the high-performance sloop is designed and engineered entirely in-house by Perini. Comprising of an all-aluminium hull and superstructure, the 47-metre E-volution will carry a carbon rigging system and for added performance to support a total sail area of 1,275 square metres.
“The sale of the S/Y 47m E-volution,” commented Lamberto Tacoli, Perini Navi Chairman & CEO, “is also a testament to the market’s appreciation for these contemporary new products which meld powerful performance under sail with a unique standard of comfort.”
The flybridge design that Perini Navi yachts of the past are so well known for has been incorporated in this new-generation style and offers up to 90 square metres of added exterior space and is also where the yacht’s twin helm stations are located for all-round visibility. Photo: Perini Navi
The sleek lines meet at the yacht’s stern where a sweeping aft deck transforms into a spacious beach deck when not in racing mode. The large cockpit lounge area seamlessly leads into the saloon for an uninterrupted indoor/outdoor experience.
For the interiors, Perini Navi will be working with Marco Costanzi Architects on the style and decor to suit the owner’s lifestyle. In addition to the impressive master suite, three guest cabins are on offer along with a convertible cabin for use as a gym or office.
