The 55.9-metre Perini Navi sailing yacht Zenji has completed a major interior refit, reinventing her interior styling from warm American Cherry tones to a bright and contemporary aesthetic. Photo: Breed MediaLaunched in 2004 as the second hull of the successful Perini Navi 56 series, Zenji originally featured an interior design from Perini Navi in collaboration with Ron Holland. A spacious yacht with a large sail plan and extensive regatta career, Zenji was sold to her current owner in January of this year, only shortly after she completed her 15-year ABS special survey in 2019, which included a full paint job and the surveying of her masts, superstructure, hull and bottom. Zenji’s rigging and mechanical systems were also completely upgraded, her engine overhauled, and her generators replaced during this survey.Photo: Pixels from MarsPhoto: Pixels from MarsPhoto: Pixels from MarsNow her owner has given her original interiors a fresh lease of life, opting for brighter tones with a lighter wooden varnish throughout. The owner has also restyled the interior furnishings, with cream and blue sofas and chairs in the main saloon which are complimented by the choice of artwork.Photo: Pixels from MarsPhoto: Pixels from MarsPhoto: Pixels from MarsIn addition to the entertainment spaces, the yacht's six staterooms have also been given a complete refit, echoing the colour scheme of the main saloon and dining areas. Zenji can accommodate as many as 12 guests between the master suite, two VIP double staterooms and three twins, two of which feature pullman beds.Photo: Pixels from MarsPhoto: Pixels from MarsGiven her recent repaint and maintenance, the yacht's exterior has remained mostly unchanged, though she now has a large Jacuzzi on her aft deck. The cockpit has also been redesigned and now features large cream sofas as well as a spacious table. Zenji is currently offered for charter with Cecil Wright & Partners.Photo: Pixels from Mars
