Amsterdam RAI has just announced that the keynote speaker at the METS 2015 Breakfast Briefing on 17 November will be Peter Sander, Manager Emerging Technologies & Concepts at AIRBUS Industries.
Sander will speak on the subject of ‘On the way to Additive Layer Manufacturing (ALM): Chances & Challenges for future of design & industrial production’.
Airbus uses a high volume of ALM parts in the new Airbus A350 aircraft, and has therefor unrivalled experience in this technology and its emerging possibilities.
Other subjects of the keynote speech will include the impact of biomimetic structure design and its inclusion in the application of ALM, subjects which are of great interest to the marine equipment and boatbuilding sectors.
