Philippe Briand and Alloy Yachts unveil 46m sloop

Philippe Briand has teamed up with Alloy Yachts, on the design for a 46m (151’) performance sloop. The yacht has been developed as a fully engineered turnkey project, with a range of personalised options. Pre-design and -engineering means a significant reduction in build time.

“I believe the 46 m should be a very attractive size for owners. At this length, our design offers a roomier interior, raised up saloon and a huge owner’s private space in all of the three versions of the layout. She is also the largest performing “PANAMAX” sloop we can design, her mast reaching the limit of 62.5 m above the water (performance version). Together with my team, we are very happy to bring all of our experience to the design of the PS46 and to collaborate, from inception, with such a highly skilled team such as Alloy yachts. We are confident that we will create together the best of the PS46’s.” said Philippe Briand, Naval Architect.

“Fully optimized, with all engineering design work complete, this exciting design offers our customers the quality and individuality of a custom build, at a fixed cost without the time investment that a custom build often requires” said Tony Hambrook, Managing Director of Alloy Yachts.
