She features a high volume normally found on larger yachts, with her interior design penned by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/473" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Overmarine Group SPA (Company)">Overmarine</a>'s technical department, alongside her owner.The first hull in the Mangusta Oceano 39 yacht series boasts floor-to-ceiling windows of her main and upper decks, which can be opened to seamlessly blend her interior and exterior spaces.&nbsp;Her aft area includes foldable terraces to provide direct access with the water, as well as providing guests with total relaxation in utmost privacy. (Company)">Briand</a> laughed. &nbsp;To balance her rugged capabilities, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/8082" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Shinkai54.9m (180'1&quot;)Feadship2022">Shinkai</a> offers luxury and class of the highest order. Comfort is a necessity when out to sea for the lengths of time that this owner demands. Her owner is a deft-hand when it comes to world travel and requested a list of very unique and bespoke features to fulfil all demands. The result is a majestic go-anywhere explorer that features a striking mast, a 7.2-tonne submarine that can be deployed and retrieved by a heavy-duty crane with an almost eight-metre reach. This crane will also be used to launch <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/8082" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Shinkai54.9m (180'1&quot;)Feadship2022">Project Shinkai</a>'s limousine tender and lift the owner’s car and its crate from the aft deck to the shore. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/207869/image/large-16b60e4dd029852322cc4afdab47f395.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/207869">The boat herself has been aptly named. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/8082" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Shinkai54.9m (180'1&quot;)Feadship2021">Shinkai</a> – or ‘Deep Sea’, in Japanese – can reach the most remote and far-flung destinations, thanks to her self-sufficiency and large nautical range. She is also fitted with a hull built to Ice Class standards. Feadship launched its 55m explorer superyacht, Shinkai, from its shipyard in Aalsmeer this morning.
