Last week's highlight was without doubt the launch of the 78 metre Feadship superyacht Venus, which was launched at the Feadship shipyard in Aalsmeer. During their 1st meeting, it was more than clear, that the two shared the same philosophy on the elegance of minimum. On their 2nd meeting, Starck brought Steve the mock up model of the yacht he designed inside out with all the finished plans. "Steve was more than happy and approved the whole. The project never changed during the process of 5 years dedicated to a rigorous work on details, driven by the famous eye and genius of Steve Jobs. The design work took place between Steve Jobs and Philippe Starck and has been fantastically executed by Feadship. The first is a semi-open space of 320 square-meters on the main deck, with opening terraces, extendable to 400 square-meters, and with a gym and beach club aft.
