The SuperYacht Times team is currently in Florida for the 2016 edition of Yachts Miami Beach. This year sees the show boast around 500 yachts on display, including several new world debuts, including the Princess S86; the Astondoa Century 110; Azimut 66; Azimut Magellano 66; Benetti Crystal 140; Sanlorenzo SD112; and the Sanlorenzo SL86. The day celebrates women in the industry and is intended to promote recruitment, raise the profile of women in maritime and address the current gender imbalance in the maritime industry. In actual fact, the average length of the current in-build yachts in Turkey is 49 meters, with many of these yachts being motor yachts and motor-sailors as well as gulets.
