Pictured in this Instagram post from Kieran Hannon is the 75.22 metre sloop M5 (ex. Mirabella V) in San Diego with her own seaplane on board. Built by Vosper Thornycroft in 2004, she was designed in her entirety by Ron Holland Design. Commenting on the 2014 refit, Ron Holland Design says, “All involved at Ron Holland Design were excited to contribute to the extensive refit of M5. This ground breaking sailing yacht has gained a new life, incorporating her new owners personal detailing requirements as well as new engines, genets, and many related systems. The intention is to ensure M5 can remain in world voyaging condition for the foreseeable future.”
