Currently under development by Barracuda Yacht Design is a new 50 metre explorer yacht project. SYT will over the coming weeks be able to take you behind the scenes to reveal what goes in to creating such a design project by hand, but until then the following basic details will have to suffice.
Designed as a ‘go-anywhere’ vessel able to reach the remotest of corners of the oceans in complete safety and luxury, the 50 metre ‘Pocket’ Explorer stretches 9.40 metres across and draws a mere 2.30 metres below the waterline.
The owner is provided with an exclusive owner’s deck with a certified helicopter landing pad located on the aft deck for seamless access to the unexplored world outside. Four additional guest staterooms are located on the lower deck. A large stern garage houses the yacht’s fleet of exploration craft and water toys.
