In September last year at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival, British yacht builder Princess Yachts unveiled an all-new Y95 superyacht as its Y Class flagship model. With limited details about this exciting new model available at that time, here Princess Yachts reveals what clients can look forward to in terms of layout options and interior features.
The new Y95 closely follows Princess’ new-generation style of design with flowing and sculpted exterior lines by Pininfarina and Olesinski, with noticeable influences from their upcoming X95 model. Princess reports that the volume on board its new Y95 is comparable to that of the 30M superyacht model, indicative of the clever layout and space-saving measures built into this new model. The hull windows, for example, are the longest and most expansive of their kind ever installed on a Princess yacht.Photo: Princess Yachts
The Y95 follows a conventional five-cabin layout with the full-beam master suite forward on the main deck along with a another full-beam VIP stateroom on the lower deck with two twin and a double cabin for a total of 10 guests. The crew quarters are located in the aft section of the yacht and can host up to three liveaboard staff to facilitate longer journeys at sea. Photo: Princess Yachts
Optional layout possibilities come in the form of a sundeck Jacuzzi, main saloon bar area, a luxury beach club setup or extended crew accommodation. The swim platform comes standard with a transformer setup that can lower into the water to make watersports days safer and even more fun. Photo: Princess Yachts
In terms of performance, the Y95 will be fitted with twin Man V12 engines that are calculated to deliver a top speed of 26 knots while the wave-piercing bow increases the fuel efficiency and seakeeping abilities of the vessel. Photo: Princess Yachts
The first unit of this new range will be ready for delivery in early 2021 according to the builder.
