Princess Yachts appoints new executive chairman

British shipyard Princess Yachts has announced the appointment of a new executive chairman of the board at the company. Anthony Sheriff, the former Managing Director of McLaren Automotive, will succeed Philippe Mellier, who will remain on the board.

Chris Gates, Managing Director of Princess Yachts, comments on Sheriff joining the team: "It was an absolute pleasure to have worked with Philippe Mellier over the past year as he was really passionate about the brand and product and I thank him for all of his efforts. Princess Yachts will be present at the upcoming Boot Düsseldorf 2016 show, where the new Princess 30M will make her debut to the industry.
