One of the latest products from Netherlands based company, Hydromar Marine Equipment, is the SeaScape, a bathing platform for motor and sailing yachts ranging from 30-85 metres.
The development of the SeaScape came as a means to supply the increasing demand from larger yachts for an extensive moving bathing platform. The original product is set to make life on board as easy and seamless as possible for guests by effectively creating a large stairway from the sea back to the superyacht.
The tailor made platform will be located aft at the swim platform and is fully hydraulic. It comes in two sizes, 1.7 x 3.0 metres with 4-6 steps and a maximum load of 1000kg, and a 2.2 x 4.0 metres with 6-8 steps and a maximum load of 1200kg. Within each size, the platform size and number of steps can be redefined.
Hydromar Marine Equipment comments on the product, stating, “The SeaScape is a new developed piece of equipment for which Hydromar has high expectations. We believe it will meet a market demand based on ongoing inquiries from yards and owner’s representatives.”
With its unique crankshaft mechanism the stability of steps and platform are optimal. The SeaScape was officially revealed at the Monaco Yacht Show in September this year, and will also be present at the upcoming Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS). Held in Amsterdam every year, METS is the largest show of its kind and will welcome over 20,000 marine industry professionals to the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre from the 18th - 20th November. The show provides a platform to network, exchange ideas and do business, as well as showcasing innovative and exciting products and technologies.
