Product of the Week: Rhodium AMCS from RH Marine

The Dutch maritime electrical and automation system integration experts, RH Marine have recently announced their latest product: the Rhodium Alarm Monitoring & Control System.

With the Rhodium Alarm Monitoring & Control System (AMCS), any vessel of any size can have a state-of-the-art automation solution. Being completely modular and scalable in terms of configuration and complexity, the Rhodium AMCS is equally suitable for large mega yachts or naval vessels as it is for tenders or ferries.

By using mesh network topology (providing multiple paths from sensor to workstation that the data can follow), multi-server system architecture, embedded software and extremely rigorous testing, the Rhodium AMCS is a highly reliable and durable foundation for your vessel's automation. A wide range of data security measures guarantees that operating the automation system happens both safely and securely.

Some of the AMCS’ special features include its robust network architecture, custom symbol editor and its multiple PLC-type support. The scalable automation solution also features a modern intuitive HMI with vector-based graphics, Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) solid state hardware, and an OEM version is also available.

The modern vector-based graphic HMI allows for dynamic, interactive and intuitive interaction with the ship’s systems. The Rhodium AMCS will become available in four versions: Light, Basic, Full and Extended. Each version offers a specific set of functionalities and features, which are all compliant with the applicable rules and regulations. The Rhodium AMCS solution will be available from the 1st of November and is the basis for all Rhodium Automation solutions.
