Admiral to build 72m yacht project Metamorphosis

Marking the seventh collaboration since 2010 between the Italian shipyard Admiral and IYC, project Metamorphosis has been sold. Measuring 72 metres, she is expected to be one of the largest vessels to be built by Admiral. With her delivery date scheduled for 2024, the designer of the new-build project is to be revealed during 2021.The Italian Sea Group company photoThe 1,800 GT project Metamorphosis will be built to ice-class specifications with a full displacement steel hull and a transatlantic range of over 5,500 nautical miles. Amenities onboard will feature a large beach club, a pool towards the aft of the main deck, a private spa and a helipad. The plans for guest accommodation include six luxurious main deck staterooms, plus a full owner’s deck and space for a crew of up to 20 onboard.

The buyer in this deal was represented by Michel Chryssicopoulos of IYC, who commented Admiral has matured in terms of client focus and has drastically increased its quality of build, positioning them as one of the leading yards in the superyacht industry. I strongly believe that this project will take the shipyard to yet another level. This project will reinvent traditional yacht design, hence project Metamorphosis.”
