Queen of Andaman is a new luxury superyacht which offers clients a unique yachting experience in the South East Asian region. At 41meters long, she has been beautifully designed with spacious decks, offering up to 10 guests’ uncompromising luxury. Queen of Andaman is available for charter from June 2008.
She is a custom hand-made classic motor sail yacht that was built to Italian RINA standards in Europe, in 2007. What separates her from other charter vessels in the region is the level of luxury invested in her design. She gives the grace, class and elegance of a traditional classic yacht, yet has the performance and amenities of a modern one. Strong, classic lines, combined with her tall rigging give her a sense of real character.
Charter guests can choose to either, sit back and enjoy the experience or take a more active role alongside the experienced and professional crew. An English captain, who has vast local knowledge of South East Asia, leads a crew of seven to ensure guests safety, comfort and enjoyment during the charter.
At around the time the sun sets, the perfect place to be is on the spacious flybridge bar where guests can enjoy cocktails and fine dining.
As the last of the light fades into night, the tasteful lighting of the flybridge brings out the full character of this exquisite deck where guests can enjoy good company and fine wines. The perfect combination! During the day, shade is provided by a generous awning and there is ample space for sunbathing, or just lazing around on this impressive 90 square meter deck.
The aft lounge, on the main deck has a beautiful wooden elongated oval dinning table, with comfortable lounge style seating where guests can enjoy the peace and calm of the waves and tae in the surroundings.
Stylish Main Salon
The main salon oozes sophistication and combines a more formal dinning area with a slick bar, and lounge seating area. The deep rich of the colours of the walls, upholstered furniture, stylish decorations and beamed ceiling liken this room to a five star hotel.
The central air-conditioning system in the main salon ensures a comfortable, constant temperature, providing guests with an escape from the warm tropical gentle breezes. Music, delivered through a Bose entertainment system adds to the overall ambience and can be piped through to all decks for the guests’ pleasure.
Guests can enjoy a variety of cuisines, on either of these decks or inside the main air-conditioned salon, prepared, according to individual taste, by Queen of Andaman’s Chef. In addition to a range of European foods, the Chef specialises in preparing delicious and exciting Asian cuisine, tailor-made to individual tastes.
Guests are invited to complete a comprehensive preference request, highlighting the types of food they prefer, cooking and taste preferences, along with any special dietary requirements.
Unparalleled Luxury - Cabins
Queen of Andaman provides comfortable accommodation for 8 charter guests in 4 luxury master cabins, all with their own en-suite. Each cabin has a 32” Plasma Satellite TV and DVD playing facilities, broadband internet, Fleet 77 Satellite telephones, an internal room to room telecom system, Bose entertainment system, individually regulated air-conditioning system, mini-bar, refrigerator, safe and writing desk.
Again the most outstanding feature, apart from the stylish furnishings and décor, must be the size of each master cabin. What’s more, the bathrooms are roomy, have two wash basins and a modern shower unit with lots of space.
Guests will be pampered not only by the soft logo’d bed linen and towels, and upholstered chairs, but by the sheer space they have to move around these luxury cabins. There is also the option of an extra cabin being made available for nannies, PA’s or fitness instructors, which can accommodate up to two more guests.
Water Sports Equipment
Queen of Andaman has a wide range of the newest and most modern water sports equipment for the guests’ enjoyment including a Sea Doo GTX Jet Ski, two Mistral windsurfers, two kayaks, and snorkeling and fishing equipment. Additionally, she carries Scuba diving gear, a Bauer compressor, water skiing equipment and has two tenders, a Zodiac 4.7M and a Boston Whaler 150.
Whether it’s diving, or fishing, water skiing, or exploring caves in a kayak, South East Asia has it all. The region has an ideal temperature and the waters are clear and warm making it an ideal place for water sports enthusiasts. Moreover, we are able to arrange local dive guides who have an excellent knowledge of not only the best dive sites, but more importantly, the best time to visit them.
Queen of Andaman will be based in the amazingly diverse and geographically beautiful region of South East Asia because of its exotic beaches, pristine waters, year-round warm temperatures and charming, friendly local people. Then there are the many deserted, tropical islands within close proximity of Phuket with lush vegetation, glistening white sand beaches and an abundance of sea life. Phang Nga Bay just north of Phuket is particularly spectacular with a wealth of towering limestone rock formations combining with the azure waters, deep caves and sheltered lagoons. A truly fascinating area to explore!
Add to this a number of wonderful possibilities to explore the un-spoilt Andaman Islands, Burma’s multitude of deserted islands, the adventurous Borneo and the striking beauty and diversity of Indonesia’s numerous islands, and it is clear to sea that the region offers countless possibilities for a unique luxury yacht charter experience aboard the Queen of Andaman.
