<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2169" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Messerschmitt Yachts GmbH (Company)">Messerschmitt Yacht Design</a> have unveiled the renderings for a new 78.8-metre superyacht concept, MTT-Shield. The concept was created by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nobiskrug (Company)">Nobiskrug</a> in collaboration with Swiss design studio <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2169" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Messerschmitt Yachts GmbH (Company)">Messerschmitt Yachts</a>. She was designed for long-range journeys across all oceans, described as an oceangoing ‘long bonnet racing car’. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/262194/image/large-044eb13941c2061b56e7fba0bd70b4b7.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/262194">MTT-Shield offers three different entry points. Guests can board at the stern thanks to a large twin platform and twin staircases ascending to the main deck aft. Alternatively, guests can also enter via the hydraulic foldable gangway on the starboard side. The main saloon features large sliding doors on either side to fill the space with fresh air. MTT-Shield: Nobiskrug and Messerschmitt Yacht Design unveil new 79m superyacht concept

Award-winning French yacht designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/53" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Philippe Briand Ltd. (Company)">Philippe Briand</a> has unveiled the first renderings of his new 60-metre sailing yacht concept Kaze. Inspired by the Japanese word for wind, Kaze harnesses wind power for her propulsion to create a hybrid sailing yacht.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/261397/image/large-f1bd2456822632f67a925c01142b670f.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/261397">The ketch yacht, Kaze is able to accommodate different sailing programs with three different versions of rigs available, ranging from classic to the highest tech. Where’s the pleasure, the joy, the accessibility? Tommaso Spadolini (Company)">Tommaso Spadolini</a> has unveiled the first renderings for a new 48.5-metre superyacht concept. The motor yacht was designed with a specific owner in mind who was looking for a more spacious design from his current 35-metre yacht.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/260720/image/large-2e9f6b915b88c880e8684f344ab2c08d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/260720">The strictly displacement hull measures 48.5-metres in overall length, which becomes 46-metres at the waterline. After selling the firm to First Niagara Financial Group, Rob was appointed as the company’s Senior Vice President, where he guided the Insurance Division with over $600,000,000 in annual sales. He also founded Lama Commercial Real Estate, where he negotiated site acquisitions for a number of large American retailers, including Walmart, CVS, and Rite Aid. During this time, Lama owned a yacht in Miami for his entire family to enjoy.&nbsp;After moving to Miami, Lama combined his love of yachting with his business acumen, establishing <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5135" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Miami International Yacht Sales LLC. Achille Salvagni refers to the interior as a “brushed teak habitat” including thin reveals in gunmetal and natural bronze with tatami floors. “Tuhura is a megayacht conceived for a dynamic owner, nevertheless the timeless sense of peace and calmness are the main characteristics,” says Salvagni. “This softness and dynamicity are reflected in the humble elegance and sensuality of the primitive organic shapes echoed throughout.”<img src="/uploads/store/photo/26368/image/large-28ad418b8c3e54aa9751e6c6a4365747.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/26368"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/26369/image/large-37b1623dd3020a0cbe41dee7acdd32a3.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/26369">Tuhura’s hull and propulsion system have been developed in collaboration with BMT. The pure simplicity of the canoe form leads to a naturally efficient hull with low overall resistance, good seakeeping and excellent manoeuvrability. However, integrating a modern propulsion system in the canoe form presents a challenge and the team opted for a hybrid Azipod® CRP (contra-rotating) propulsion system from ABB. The development of this system was initially trialled in 2003 and it is currently being applied with success on commercial vessels. James Roy, Yacht Design Director at BMT, stated, “The hybrid CRP system is inherently efficient and perfectly suited to the canoe form, there is a synergy between the efficiency of the hull form, and that of the propulsion system, leading to a yacht which marries an evolutionary simple hull with an evolutionary advanced propulsion system.”<img src="/uploads/store/photo/26376/image/large-ad849679dd7975f816c6cea752a5dad6.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/26376"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/26375/image/large-a69f9edc4f28b15e7a808260275d872c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/26375"> “This is a technically challenging and intriguing project,” says Dirk de Jong, Commercial Director at Oceanco. “It is 180-degrees different from our previous two yacht collaborations with Lobanov Design studio, the 86-metre launched in 2013 and the 110-metre Jubilee launched just last year. Art of Life: Inside Sinot’s new 115m superyacht concept

A new ultra-modern 120-metre superyacht concept, Project L, has been recently revealed by designer Thierry Gaugain and represented by broker Alex Banning from&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2237" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="SuperYachtsMonaco (Company)">SuperYachtsMonaco</a>. The new ultra-modern 120-metre superyacht concept, Project L, is the first solo project by Thierry Gaugain.

Italian designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6004" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lazzarini Design Studio (Company)">Lazzarini</a> has unveiled his latest avant-garde superyacht design: the aptly named 137-metre 'avanguardia' concept.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/174024/image/large-9748646be3ec3a858d9838d0f2c3c37e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/174024">Meaning 'vanguard' in English, the design takes its name from the positioning of the control tower which resembles the head of a swan. Next in the series of nature-inspired superyacht concepts from design studio <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6004" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lazzarini Design Studio (Company)">Lazzarini</a> is the 153-metre Prodigium. Dutch design firm CBSPRO Maritime has announced a new 95-metre yacht concept, the Protean 95. As its name suggests, the Protean 95 is designed to be adaptable to suit a wide range of functions, which according to the studio’s co-owner, can vary from “from a yacht support vessel, to a crossover expedition/explorer vessel, a race support vessel, a dive operations vessel, a entertainment/conference venue, a laboratory and research vessel.” <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/182495/image/large-e208f916c739ea32c547f49e1da043e9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/182495"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/182494/image/large-881f04b0e1b272973cbfc94e13d592a8.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/182494">A six-level superstructure could accommodate various configurations of crew and guests, with the rendering shown here indicative of a set-up that could sleep 20 guests and 24 crew. The yacht subdivides the living spaces in two side hulls, connected to each other through a bridge tower deck station. French yacht designer Mathis Ruhl has revealed his latest superyacht concept. Measuring 70-metres, Wind Motion is a unique trimaran with a heavy focus on capturing and transforming wind energy into an efficient propulsive force by means of a new rigging development.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/25992/image/large-e3f4389a914e178b414b009ce7a68c73.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/25992">Named the RTW ², Ruhl explains: “We previously developed the MRTW rig as a wind propulsor suited for larger vessels. With the RTW ² rig, we took the concept even further, breeding it with the articulated two elements thick wing concept. A larger wing mast section and foldable articulated thick sail reduces the compression load in the mast, and unties the two spars in a central pivot. Radical new 70m trimaran superyacht concept

Seaffinity, as it’s aptly called, has been designed in-house under the direction of Patrick le Quément to emulate the great birds of the sea.
