Raphael Sauleau appointed CEO of IYC

Raphael Sauleau has joined the IYC team, taking on the position of Chief Executive Officer, effective as of today (8 December 2022). Stefanos Makrymichalos, who has served as CEO since 2015 will remain with the company, assuming the role of Executive Chairman. Raphael Sauleau, CEO of IYCStefanos Makrymichalos was responsible for driving IYC to its current position, successfully restructuring the firm on all levels, and expanding IYC’s group and operations globally. IYC became the largest operator of charter yachts worldwide and consistently ranked among the top tier of yacht sales globally, under his tenure. Makrymichalos will be actively involved in the company’s strategic vision, with a focus on the company’s brand and technology development. 

Raphael Sauleau has 25 years of experience in the private wealth and maritime sectors, and most recently held the position of CEO at Fraser. At IYC, Sauleau will be responsible for managing the company's operations and business activities globally with the objective of achieving growth and efficiency.
