Recap: Monaco Yacht Show 2017 review

Another edition of the Moncao Yacht Show has come to an end and the official show management has released this year’s review figures. The results indicate that this year’s fleet attendance was larger and newer than ever before, with yachts averaging a length of 49 metres and 50% of the fleet being less than two years old.

Not only the yachts themselves, but visitor numbers were up from last year as well with 36,400 people having walked through the entrance, an 8% increase from 2016. A new addition to this year’s event was the Tenders & Toys extension on Quai Antoine where some of the latest water toys and luxury personal craft were on display.

Another area growing in popularity was the Car Deck, presented for the second time this year. Bespoke car manufacturers such as Lamborghini and the likes were on display for a real-time experience for clients and enthusiasts.
