Red Sula, one of the most sophisticated yachts ever built by Jongert, will be shown at the 3rd Antibes Yacht Show from 2 to 5 April, 2009. Red Sula has already been a hot spot at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2008, where she was presented as a world premiere.
With her beautifully elegant lines, the modern 32.5 meter sloop Red Sula has been inspired by the Audi TT. Tony Castro and automobile designer Giugiaro designed her for fast circumnavigations with a small crew. Her exciting coupé roof has often been copied by now. Originally built for an owner who insisted on putting safety first, this Jongert 3200M is a fast and lively, eminently seaworthy long-distance sailing yacht, equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Built in aluminium, Red Sula epitomizes elegant design: The clean, harmoniously merging lines of the deck superstructure slope gently upwards with the slightly curving sides of the coachroof. This design has been revolutionary, still setting standards today. Red Sula amply demonstrates that safety and successful composition do not have to be mutually exclusive: practicality and comfort are given no short measure at all.
The patented Jongert folding keel and the new twin rudder system ensure perfect sailing performance in any conditions. With the keel lifted up it is possible to reach shallow anchorages and small harbours.
In addition, Red Sula offers a luxurious spacious interior with comfort cabins, all en suite, for owner, four guests and the crew. Royal blue sisal carpeting is lead in the lobby, cabins and deck saloon where guests can relax on comfortable settees and sofas while enjoying the beautiful view through panoramic windows and the skylight by day or by night. Since her launch in 2002, this modern sloop from first hand has only been privately used and is in perfect condition.
