Refit works commence on Lazy Z

Derecktor Shipyard has announced that work has begun on the refit and re-powering of the 168' charter superyacht Lazy Z from Oceanco. Built in 1997, the vessel is set to undergo a significant cosmetic and mechanical refit in addition to the replacement of the existing engines with MTU 16V2000's.

In addition, she will also have a full exterior paint by Chi, teak decking upgrades by Sterling and modifications to the Sundeck by Transform. Inside, her interior salon areas and stairwell are due to be re-configured.

Derecktor will be responsible for the mechanical refit in addition to the engine change. The installation of new main engine exhausts by de Angelo, air conditioning system by Cuge and a new black water system by Headhunter are also part of the work scope.

Completion is scheduled for May 2015.
