Fraser has announced the passing of one of their esteemed Charter Brokers, Robin O’Brien. With a career in the yachting industry that spanned over 30 years, Robin had a well-established, respected reputation among her clients, colleagues, and maritime industry network.
Driven by a passion to bring joy to people’s lives, Robin once said of her role as a broker: “I love helping people plan their dream vacation. It is so rewarding to open up the world of cruising to someone new to the experience.” 
In terms of her background, Robin ventured into Ft. Lauderdale after she graduated from Temple University, where a year of working on board yachts introduced her to the industry that became her home.
Robin was one of the few female First Officers onboard large charter yachts in the Mediterranean and Caribbean in the early 1990s.
As Fraser COO Mike Busacca stated, “Robin was a magnificent person. She is one of those people who you know was just truly great. She would do anything for anyone and looked out for everyone else before herself. She was an incredible person to work with and will be truly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.”
