Rosetti Superyachts has announced that it will build a second unit of its 38-metre Explorer model, following the delivery of the 38-metre superyacht Emocean, the first unit in the Rosetti Explorer series.Ermanno Bellettini, the Chairman and CEO of Rosetti Superyachts, comments, “Our decision to commence a new construction represents another important investment, confirming that our Group firmly believes in the future of Italian shipbuilding and, in particular, of Rosetti Superyachts’ talent in building yachts with international appeal.”
The exterior design and naval architecture of the Explorer series was completed by Hydro Tec.
Of the decision to build a second unit of the series on speculation, Andrea Giora, the Sales and Marketing Director of Rosetti Superyachts says, “We chose to start building a second boat to meet market demands for shorter delivery times. This yacht will benefit from the experience acquired on motor yacht Emocean and from the choices made with the owners, Hydro Tec and our shipyard. Over the next few months, the future owner of this 38-metre yacht will be able to configure the interiors and select materials and may choose to benefit from the expertise of BurdissoCapponi Yachts and Design who also designed the interiors of motor yacht Emocean.”The second unit of the Explorer series is expected to be available for delivery in July 2023. The vessel will be constructed at Rosetti’s San Vitale shipyard in Ravenna, Italy.
