Preparations are well underway for the launch of the 45 meter displacement superyacht Aslec 4 at the Rossi Navi yard in Italy. Aslec 4, which is project FR024 is scheduled for a launch on March 10th. She is the first of two yachts that are going to be delivered by the yard in 2012.
Aslec 4 is designed by Studio Spadolini, with lots of exterior deck space. The aft deck measures an incredible 70 square metres. Inside, oak and ebony are the primary woods, with accents in carbon, black chrome, and goldleaf.
The yacht has a steel hull and a marine grade aluminum superstructure, and is equipped with twin 1300 hp Caterpillar 3508 C DITA/SWAC Diesel engines , allowing for a maximum speed of 16 knots and a half load cruising speed of 15 Knots.
