The 18th edition of Seatec, an exhibition of technology, components, design and subcontracting applied to yachting, will mark the occasion for the first-ever Rossinavi Design Challenge, with an award up for grabs for young designers of motor yachts under 500GT. 
Photo: Rossi NaviThe challenge was developed in cooperation with Seatec and the organisers of the Millennium Yacht Design Award (MYDA). The winner will be selected by a jury made up of Rossinavi’s managing director Federico Rossi and a group of journalists, designers, brokers and other key players in the nautical sector. Rossi comments that “using our knowledge of the market and our forty-year experience, we seek interaction with a creative new generation to discuss what the boats of tomorrow will be.”

Model Maker Group, one of the challenge’s partners, will produce a scale model of the winning project, and all the necessary steps will be taken to get the project sold. The project will also be included in Rossinavi's promotional materials as a 2020 novelty.

The 18th edition of Seatec will take place in Carrara, Italy from 5 - 7 February 2020.
